Spring 2024,
HOW CAN WE HELP HAWAII? Let's clean Waipi'o Valley 1st Sunday or 3rd Saturday, contact Joseph, no pressure, but let him know so he can let U'i know AP... Sakura is in California, working through a custody plan/being a nerd (until July 21st) so garden club is a bit rouge, hassle Irene or Joseph if interested there is always a place to weed! Ho'ōla Farm to car Wednesdays is another good day to meet up and see familiar faces... especially morning shift.
WHAT'S GOOD FUN? If you are in P Town, please support Farmers Day at the Orchidland Farmer's Market, first Monday of the month 4-Sunset at 36th and Orchidland Drive it's always funtastic (because the definition of funtastic = Cam's farmer's market).
FREE STUFF? Shirts are here, for those of you waiting for shirts see Joseph!
CELEBRATE PROGRESS:
Congratulations to Joseph and Irene for their first co-op cabbage harvest since graduation. Enjoy the montage "Rainiest Catch" on www.kopehale.com or www.bettertogetherfarm.net (using Open Shot rather than Movavi movie software, but it was pretty fun).
Congratulations to Joseph for starting a 10 acre farm project in Pahoa!
Congratulations to Irene for filling out the NRCS grant with only 1 day left in the cycle! Next cycle is August...
Congratulations to Cam the new Community Director of Orchidland for reopening the Orchidland Community Market!
Congratulations to John for clearing up personal space to make some interim Cohort 8 nursery space for those who need to nurse plants before incubator. Such an awesome job!
